THREE BOOK STORES SERVING MAUI COUNTY
The Maui Friends of the Library is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization that serves the people of Maui County.
Not only does this keep books out of the landfill, but it provides a place where everyone on Maui can buy books for pocket change.
As the big bookstores continue to struggle and go out of business, this is more important than ever.
“One hundred percent of the proceeds are used to fund various items and programs for
Maui County Public Libraries which fall outside of their budget.”
Maui Friends of the Library
The MFOL seeks to share its love of books and reading with all of Maui.
Stop by one of our three Maui bookstore locations in Kahului, Lahaina, and Pu’unene.
The Maui Friends of the Library will be having a used book sale in front of Whole Foods Market in the Maui Mall on Saturday, February 14th, from 9AM to 3PM. There will be a large selection of fiction, non-fiction, oversize and children’s books for sale. MFOL membership forms will be available. All proceeds go to supporting programs and materials for the libraries in Maui County.
