LAHAINA BOOKSTORE
Our bookstore at the Outlets of Maui in Lāhainā burned in the wildfires that raged on our island August 8, 2023 — along with so many other homes and businesses. We look forward to the day when we can open another store on the West Side, but must wait until space is found and the time is right to re-open.
Watch a video interview with MFOL President Flo Wiger about our efforts during the aftermath of the wildfire.
The Lāhainā Public Library, housed in a quaint historic building on Front Street, was also consumed by flames. Maui Friends of the library supports the efforts of our Hawai'i Public Library System to restore vital library services to the West Side community.
